Ada + Nik Spring/Summer 2016 Menswear

Ada + Nik – a London-based dark matter contemporary menswear design duo with creative tendencies rooted in Greco Roman Punk – ancient ideals of masculinity fused with pre industrial revolution silhouettes and the spirit of 1970s British Punk.

The design duo consists of couturier Ada Zanditon and creative Nik Thakkar, two established industry tastemakers holding a combined experience spanning work with Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, LVMH and more.

Ada + Nik has been described by press as “the most refreshing new menswear brand to emerge in recent years”, “a start up sensation” and “the future of menswear” due to its unique, darker take on British fashion. Bold and yet commercially viable silhouettes typify the brand identity. Collections are produced in East London and feature intricate technical detail and use of innovative performance materials such as hydrophobic cotton and antibacterial sneakernet. Sustainable intelligence is key to material selection and to date bi-product leather, natural fabrics and waste reducing, energy conscious solutions have been integrated into the design process.
