EDE & RAVENSCROFT LONDON COLLECTION MEN”S

EDE & RAVENSCROFT
London’s Oldest Tailor

EDE & RAVENSCROFT enjoys a rich heritage that stretches back to 1689 when, as a family firm of tailors, it was entrusted to create the robes for the coronation of William and Mary. Today, it is one of only a few companies to hold three Royal Warrants and has provided robes for 12 coronations, as well as numerous state openings of parliament and countless royal, civic, legal and academic ceremonies.

The menswear collections at Ede & Ravenscroft continue this sartorial tradition, evoking the quintessential British look for town and country with exquisitely crafted ready-to-wear, made to order and bespoke tailoring. A complete range of formal tailoring is available (morning dress, white and black tie) as well as an impressive range of casual essentials.

In 1989, Ede & Ravenscroft was granted the prestigious honour of a crest to mark its tercentenary. Designed by College of Arms, it celebrates the brand’s organic beginnings and artisan craftsmanship – the company is proud to tailor part of its collection in London.
Ede & Ravenscroft’s stores are steeped in history, from the Burlington Gardens flagship store in The Albany, Piccadilly, to the Chancery Lane store. Edinburgh dates back to the 18th Century, while Cambridge boasts splendid medieval timbers. The Oxford store, once an inn, was occupied by forces loyal to King Charles I. Weaving its rich sartorial heritage into the very fabric of the clothes it provides, Ede & Ravenscroft offers the very best in meticulous tailoring and contemporary-yet-classic British design.
