JAYKO AUTUMN/WINTER 2014/15 THE GALLERY DÜSSELDORF

Stories like “once upon a time…” always begin in the same way: by a beautiful day, a pricess who…But before telling you that story, let’s talk about the girl by whom the princess become the most beautiful.
According to Sabine Bardon, in every woman remains a murmuring princess, and that’s only for this woman that she decided, after having launched the BATISTE brand in famous french group to create her own brand: JAYKO.
A brand dedicated to the women who have kept the natural spirit of women values in a little corner of their heart: romantism, authenticity and poetry while showing a kinf of out phase fantasy.
According to her, every woman is unique. Princess turning aside from the beaten tracks in order to show off their belonging and their states of mind: a part of dream, a part of absolute, a part of difference and a part of princess.
The Jayko collections are inspired by the nature of the chosen materials and by different shapes. The Jayko brand is made for women in search of authenticity, simplicity and poetry. You will be pulled into the brand’s romantic world by the natural materials and unusual details of the ethnically inspired pieces. The collections are conceived and designed in the Jayko workshop. The company actually has its own internal design studio to assist in the creation of exceptional products. The search for unique pieces is a perfect example of this: the colour schemes are developed exclusively by and for Jayko. The range of 6 colours schemes consists of shades of soft warm monochrome created using the piece dyeing process.
Different outlines are created by varying the layers (tops, tunics, skirts, knitwear and coats, etc.). This process is used to create different looks simply by changing around the pieces.
The materials used are primarily natural such as linen, cotton, bamboo, hemp and silk and also wool, cashmere and baby alpaca for the winter season. Accessories completing the look are often handcrafted by artists. They are made using materials such as metal, wood and ceramics. They are sometimes design with embroidery or exclusive silk-screens, which match the themes of the collection. This quest for perfection in the design and creation of pieces and the selection of materials gives rise year after year to exceptional upmarket collections. Indeed, Jayko’s brand are enjoying increasing success both in France and abroad.
