ARJUNA.AG was founded by Mikaela Bradbury– a South African born, New York based polymath. She discovered silver when her mother, an 11 year cancer survivor, used silver to treat radiation burns while going through treatment. Inspired by silver’s physical, aesthetic and symbolic properties, she developed the idea for a fashion line that offered holistic protection for 21st century global urban health challenges.

Prior to starting ARJUNA, Mikaela studied anthropology and Tibetan Studies from Columbia University, worked as a brand strategist, made art, and taught yoga and nutrition to at-risk youth. Throughout these professional and personal experiences, Mikaela recognized the importance of integrating science with beauty, mindset and feeling in order to inspire and cultivate wellbeing.
MISSION

Our mission extends beyond the protection of the individual mind and body to encompass the protection of the planet, including the communities, habitats and natural resources upon which each life depends.

We accomplish this mission in 5 core ways:

Our products are intended to protect and empower individuals who are enacting positive change in the world — what we call the “Arjuna Warriors.”
Our products are intended to inspire and facilitate conscious living– with heightened awareness of what we take in and put out to our environment.
Our design is governed by a “less is more” ethos that emphasizes quality, simplicity and versatility – and therefore a movement away from wasteful consumption.
Our local manufacturing & sourcing reduces our carbon footprint, while also allowing for a more transparent relationship with our suppliers and producers. We are committed to only sourcing socially and environmentally ethical materials in conjunction with our primary silver fabric.
We aim to create content and partnerships that cultivate greater awareness of planetary challenges and innovative ways in which we can address them.
