ASHISH AUTUMN/WINTER 2015-16 READY-TO-WEAR LONDON

“I WAS inspired by Jane Fonda in Klute – a story of a bunch of high-class hookers who only dress for themselves,” Ashish told us after parading his autumn/winter 2015 vision this afternoon, a vision complete with red glossy knee-high lace-ups, sequin-embroidered sweaters emblazoned with “SEX”, and lots and lots of fur, seemingly stapled together with metal-covered beads. This high-octane street sass was explored everywhere, with sequinned camo bombers and tie-dye denim (studded to within an inch of its existence) spelling out “Fuk U” exuding the same look-at-me nonchalance of what had come before and, no doubt, Fonda and her cohorts. Pretty Woman who?
