In 2013 Aurelio Costarella celebrated 30 years working in the fashion industry, culminating in a retrospective exhibition at the WA Museum. Aurelio Costarella Summer 14/15 is a contemporary interpretation of classic 1920’s/30’s Parisienne silhouettes. Inspired by the work of Man Ray and the eclectic style of his muses Kiki de Montparnasse, Tamara de Lempika, Nancy Cunard, Lee Miller and Juliete. This vibrant and multi-textured collection of dresses, suiting and gowns takes on a journey from delicately pretty to decadently noir.
