CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN AUTUMN/WINTER 2015-16 READY-TO-WEAR LONDON
CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN has long been known for his use of sustainable fabrics, something that tends not to cross one’s mind when looking at his clothes anymore. Simply, because they look so good – you notice them for their sense of design and style over anything else, which is surely a good thing. Today he kept fashion-focused for his classic outerwear styles that continued the life-at-sea theme we saw in his menswear. So there were puffa jackets and protective gear, dungaree-dresses, woolly jumpers and bubble prints on sweatshirts, that fun shark motif that snuck in on a jumper and as a bag and big big scarves to hide beneath. Padded skirts with wisps of chiffon peeking from beneath brought a femininity to outdoors style.
