Co-founders Emily and Nima both design and curate the brand. With Nima coming from a family background of 70 years in garments, Eddie Handmade was initially launched in 2013 after years of hand crafting items for personal use. Following 8 years of Fashion and Publishing experience, Emily’s background extends from Art directing high-end photo shoots to designing leading fashion industry magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Grazia.
The brand has been named after the cofounders cherished dog Eddie (who is also the labels motif): a cool, mischievous, kind and curious Jack Russell who is a true gentleman. The designs reflect a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance, focusing on practicality and contemporary designs. All of the pieces are made with natural cowhide and calfskin leather, used for its particularly smooth, supple, yet durable qualities.- list text here
