JOAO MELO COSTA AW15’16 READY-TO-WEAR LONDON FASHION WEEK

Joao Melo Costa presented minimalistic autumn/winter 2015 collections at Freemasons for London Fashion Week. The new looks were neutral colours and asymmetric. Here are our images from the show.

JOÃO MELO COSTA WAS BORN IN PORTUGAL IN 1990. AFTER ATTENDING THE ART’S UNIVERSITY OF PORTO IN 2008, JOÃO CHOOSES TO ATTEND CITEX GRADUATING IN DECEMBER 2011.

In March 2012 he presented his first collection at Portugal Fashion, earning him a nomination for best new talento in the Fashion Awards Portugal. In September 2013 he debuted his SS14 collection during London Fashion Week. More recently João Melo Costa showcased his work as part of a pop-up installation of the International Fashion Showcase 2014 for the British Council’s 80th Anniversary celebrations.
