History

Lavand’s history started nearly 20 years ago with the Loco Time company, a fashion and accessories distributing company founded in Madrid in 1993. Over the years, it created its own line of accessories and was in charge of the production of brand names for several large fashion groups, establishing itself as one of the most sought-after brands in the sector.

Lavand was created in 2008 as its own brand. The colorful and youthful designs, the good taste and style have been very well received by the young audience. Therefore, Lavand has rapidly grown since then.

Shortly after, in 2010 a new brand, Ginger+Soul, was launched in the market, full of urban energy, innovation, original ideas and a bold attitude. A year later, in 2011, Little Lavand, the children’s clothing line was put on the market with an equally good acceptance. Currently, this fashion line is on stand-by, but it is not ruling out the possibility of coming back to the markets.

The company operates on a global multi-brand level, from the USA to Japan, as well as Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, etc.

The last step taken by the company has been spreading into retail. Our first store in Velázquez 40 in Madrid was closely followed by two new openings in the city, in Madrid Xanadú Shopping Mall and the outlet store in The Style Outlets shopping mall in San Sebastián de los Reyes. Our international growth began in the very center of London, on 40 Carnaby Street. We also have stores at a national and international level (Valencia, Mexico, UK…) and we hope to open new retail stores in the future.

Currently we work in Madrid (Spain) with a multicultural team made up of 50 people, all with the same purpose: keeping our minds open to the world!
