LE PHOTOGRAPHE BRINGS THE LUXURY OF A COUTURE WARDROBE INTO EVERYDAY LIFE STYLE WITH CLOTHES THAT ARE GLAMOROUS YET ACCESSIBLE, HIGHLY WORKED YET COMFORTABLE. THE IDENTITY OF THE BRAND IS DEFINED BY A FUSION OF MODERN EMBROIDERY TECHNIQUE, GRAFFISM AND EMBELLISHMENT WITH DRAPED FORMS AND STRUCTURED CUTTING, ALL WITH THE PURPOSE OF CELEBRATING FEMININITY AND MODERNITY IN HIGH QUALITY WEARABLE TEXTILES.
Le Photographe is a new Womens Ready-to-Wear label headed up by designer Christopher Beales. After working as a senior pattern cutter and tailor at Alexander McQueen Womenswear he travelled to Mumbai, India in early 2012 to set up a workshop at a leading embroidery and manufacturing house. On returning to London four months later he started work at Tom Ford Womenswear spending there three successful seasons as the senior Womenswear tailor. In March 2014 Le Photographe debuted in Paris showing its AW14 RTW collection at Trace Showrooms. The London based design studio opened soon afterward.
