The shirt is the key garment of every man’s wardrobe; is the element that, more than any other, helps define a man’s outfit and his style. Salvatore Piccolo was born lucky; as they say in Italy he was ‘born with a shirt on his back’ (a bespoke shirt, naturally) and after acquiring the fine art of “tailor-made” he began to design and make other garments with the same resolute passion: jackets, gilet, scarves and suits. Thereby, creating an entire collection and his own signature style.
Salvatore Piccolo’s exemplary aptitude as an outstanding representative of traditional Neapolitan tailoring has refined and matured over time, resulting in a more cosmopolitan and contemporary feel. His determination and his innate curiosity, combined with the desire to improve and the ability to absorb stimuli and inspirations from his travels or from meetings with his most illustrious clients and important names in international retail, have all helped raise the positioning, the style and the prospects of the Salvatore Piccolo brand.
A brand that stems from a classic and formal style of clothing, shaped by the great Neapolitan sartorial tradition, but revamped in a more contemporary way. The shapes and tailoring of the garments are never deconstructed or reinvented but simply adapted to a more modern, and if possible, an even more comfortable fit.
Salvatore Piccolo is a high quality traditional shirt manufactory from Naples, Italy.
Still adolescent, Salvatore began to work in a big shirt factory as warehouseman. At 16 he decided to set up on his own. Observing his mother and supported by some illustrious master tailors, Salvatore specialized in the pattern creation and in the cut. In short time Salvatore’s work increased and his shirts dressed the best Neapolitan customers and then crossed the national borders.
