ASHLEY MICHAELSEN IS AN INTERNATIONAL MODEL BASED OUT OF LOS ANGELES AND NEW YORK CITY. A NATIVE OF ROCHESTER NEW YORK, ASHLEY’S CAREER BEGAN WHEN SHE WAS 6 MONTHS OLD WHERE SHE WAS A CHILD MODEL FOR FISHER PRICE TOYS. ASHLEY MOVED TO NEW YORK CITY IN 2007 TO PURSUE HER CAREER INTEREST IN FASHION DESIGN, ACTING, AND MODELING. SHE ATTENDED THE FASHION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND LEARNED THE FUNDAMENTALS FOR FASHION DESIGN AND MERCHANDISING.
WHILE ATTENDING THE FASHION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, ASHLEY WAS ALSO ACTIVELY PURSUING HER MODELING CAREER IN NEW YORK CITY. HER WORK INCLUDED GUEST PARTS ON POPULAR SOAP OPERAS INCLUDING “AS THE WORLD TURNS” ON CBS AND “ALLA TE ESPERO” ON MUNDOFOX. IN ADDITION, SHE APPEARED ON SEVERAL EPISODES OF “WHAT WOULD YOU DO” ON ABC, AND WAS FEATURED ON A NATIONAL AD CAMPAIGN BY SUBWAY. ASHLEY HAS ALSO MODELED FOR TOP PRINT MAGAZINES INCLUDING NUMEROUS ISSUES OF MAXIM MAGAZINE (FEATURING A FOUR-PAGE SPREAD ARTICLE), SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE, MARIA CLAIRE, MUSCLE & FITNESS MAGAZINE, FITNESS, RX, WOMAN’S HEALTH, WOMAN’S DAY, AND HAS APPEARED ON THE COVERS OF HEALTH & BEAUTY MAGAZINE, BODY MAGAZINE, AND NASCAR ILLUSTRATED. IN 2012, ASHLEY WAS NAMED “LOVELY LADY OF THE DAY” BY SPORTS ILLUSTRATED. ADDITIONALLY, ASHLEY HAS APPEARED ON SEVERAL BOOK COVERS AND NATIONAL BILLBOARDS.
ASHLEY IS HIGHLY RECOGNIZED AS A MONSTER ENERGY DRINK MODEL WHO REGULARLY TOURS WITH EXTREME SPORT EVENTS SUCH AS SUPER CROSS, FORMULA DRIFT, AND PBR. CURRENTLY, ASHLEY IS FEATURED IN A NATIONAL LIFE-SIZE, IN-STORE AD CAMPAIGN FOR MONSTER ENERGY DRINK. IN 2013, SHE WAS ALSO ENTERED IN THE NATIONAL MAXIM MAGAZINE COMPETITION AND WAS NAMED THE TOP 10 “MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRLS NEXT DOOR” AND WILL APPEAR AT EVENTS FOR MAXIM MAGAZINE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
IN 2012, ASHLEY WAS SELECTED AS THE OFFICIAL SPOKES MODEL FOR MAKITA POWER TOOLS. SUBSEQUENTLY, SHE MADE A BIG MOVE TO HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA AND CURRENTLY TRAVELS THROUGHOUT THE USA AND MAKES APPEARANCES AS “MISS MAKITA”. IN CONJUNCTION WITH HER WORK WITH THE MAKITA COMPANY, ASHLEY AS ALSO LEVERAGED HER TIME IN HOLLYWOOD BY BOOKING APPEARANCES ON “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER”, SEVERAL NATIONAL AD CAMPAIGNS, (INCLUDING BARE MINERALS AND VINTAGE HAVANNA), AND A NUMBER OF NATIONAL TV COMMERCIALS.
IN 2010, ASHLEY STARTED A WOMAN’S CONTEMPORARY DRESS LINE WHICH WAS SOLD IN POPULAR BOUTIQUES THROUGHOUT THE NEW YORK CITY AREA AS WELL AS THROUGH ONLINE STORES. HER SELF-TITLED LINE WAS SHOWCASED DURING MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK IN 2011. ASHLEY CONTINUES TO SHOWCASE HER FASHION LINE AT POPULAR TRADESHOWS INCLUDING THE LAS VEGAS MAGIC SHOW.
ASHLEY CURRENTLY SPLITS HER TIME BETWEEN MODELING, ACTING, AND DEVELOPING HER FASHION BUSINESS.
