ATELIERS AUGUSTE SPRING/SUMMER 2015 MAN TOKYO

Philippe Auguste Metro, at the heart of Paris 11th arrondissement. At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac lined with typical old workshops, Laurent and Xavier, wanted to use their skills and enthusiasm to create a unique brand which would fit their personal style and values.

Their pockets were overflowing with their life essentials, so the partners decided to create functional, timeless bags and accessories, that would be made in France.

MADE IN FRANCE

As part of an overall contribution to the French economy, we have chosen to work as much as possible with French and European suppliers.

Our manufacturing workshop in Vendée has been carefully crafting bags in small series for over 60 years, always from the finest materials.

The full grain leather is tanned in the Loire, straps come from a cotton fabric that is woven in the north of France as wall as YKK zippers. Metal parts are crafted in Italy and our British Millerain waxed cotton provider also provides the most famous brand of British hunting jackets.
